Due to the different frequencies, which can be applied by the DEA, it is possible to focus not only on the growing polymer network but on the remaining monomers. While the rheometer supplies information about the changing mechanical properties of the curing sample, the DEA gives additional information about the degree of curing and the potential for post-curing.
The Thermo Scientific™ HAAKE™ MARS Rheometer, with an integrated DEA sensor allows the simultaneous collection of rheological and DEA data on the same sample at the same time, which can be correlated without any doubt about sample history or pretreatment.
